Grand Re-opening

The long-awaited re-opening of The Sideboard Board Game Cafe has arrived! After being closed for nearly two years during the pandemic, we are excited to once again open Sideboard to the community. As an extension of Cape Fear Games, Sideboard offers a family-friendly space to grab a bite to eat and play a few tabletop games. Bring your own games or choose from our library of over 400 games (color-coded according complexity) at your leisure.

In addition to Sideboard's signature items like the classic Mug 'o Nugs, we are introducing fresh new items to the menu. Savory selections include hot and cold sandwiches, salads, house made hummus, buffalo chicken dip, and spicy cauliflower bites. Those looking for something sweet might want to try the iconic smores dip served with graham crackers or our caramel drizzled brownie sundae!  With 12 craft beers on tap, counter culture espresso, and classic soft drinks, there's something for everyone to enjoy while they play!
