Altay - Dawn of Civilization combines strategic deck-building, rich cultural themes, and immersive gameplay, offering endless re-playability and a captivating experience for civilization game fans. As leader of one of the four Altay’s Elder Peoples, each player faces the arrival of human settlers in the ancestral lands, and may decide whether to embrace their innovations or uphold ancient traditions while expanding its kingdom, cultivating knowledge, building monuments, or defeating enemies.

The game board depicts a region where the four factions clash, each area characterized by diverse terrain types and resources. Players control one of four factions, each represented by a unique starting deck, featuring differences in the number of “basic” cards and faction-specific cards.

The Seafarers promo set, included in the first printing of Altay, adds to the game the possibility of journeying through large bodies of water, using the talents of a Shipwright and the knowledge of Astronomy, together with a new Wonder, the Lighthouse.
